We specialise in Indian specialty coffee sourced from over 20 estates across the country, all committed to fair trade practices and biodiverse farming methods.
Equipped with a state-of-the-art 5kg Series 3 Probat roaster, we profile roast our beans to perfection, ensuring that every cup of Rossette coffee embodies excellence and consistency. Our beans, roasted in small batches at our Delhi roastery, are packaged in LDPA packets and shipped directly across India, bypassing distributors to ensure freshness and quality. Partnering with cafes, restaurants, and hotels nationwide, we supply specialty coffee beans, assist in menu development, and offer services such as white labeling and contract roasting. At Rossette Coffee Lab, our mission is to elevate India's coffee culture by directly collaborating with Indian farmers to enhance cup quality and transparency from farm to cup. We are committed to educating our audience about the intricacies of coffee, from understanding tasting notes and varietals to knowing the farms and estates where their coffee originates. Through dedicated training programs and workshops for both café baristas and home brewers, we strive to be a leading force in specialty coffee education. Our goal is to transform India’s coffee scene, fostering appreciation and excellence at every level.
Our Roasting Ideology:
At Rossette we love the art of Roasting, we follow a slightly modern approach of roasting with our latest series 3 probat roaster, focusing on three key matrix heating (conduction), air flow (convection) and drum speed (RPM). Our focus is clear, at rossette we dwell deep into developing our roast’s to offer clarity of flavour and sweetness in a cup resulting in a balanced cup which is consistent, we shy away from producing a spicy, bold and a dry cup.
We make all of our roasting decisions at the cupping table, deciding on a single profile that we feel best showcases the character of a specific coffee, the unique fingerprint that led us to it. Traditionally speaking, many have perceived this as a compromise, a ‘halfway house’ between filter and espresso, but this has never been our view. On the contrary, this approach has led to some of our most transparent and memorable coffee experiences, removing the noise and leading the conversation to origin, to the strategic decisions that shaped the raw material.
Our sourcing also plays a pivotal role in this as we source majority of our coffee’s from estate where coffee is shade grown and hand-picked. This impacts the resultant cup immensely. We also focus on estates which experiment with modern age post-harvest techniques which result in funky and complex coffee’s. In the end our portfolio is a balance of both great single origin coffees and some interesting processed coffee’s.
